Scott D. Nelson,

Financial Planner


Scott D. Nelson is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner in Westlake Village, California.

For the past sixteen years, Scott has been helping business owners, corporate executives, and retirees make the best decisions concerning the accumulation and preservation of their wealth.

Scott’s expertise spans far beyond just that of investment and retirement planning. In addition to assisting his clients with their investment and retirement planning needs, he has spent a great deal of time strategizing with business owners on how they should set up their estate and business succession plans. Scott has assisted several privately held business owners with the sale and investment of their company stock proceeds.

Over the years, Scott has been fortunate enough to work with many of the existing and retired employees of local businesses like Amgen, Anthem Blue Cross, UCLA Health, and many others. He also heads up the entertainment portion of their practice, handling the affairs of several award-winning actors, actresses, writers, sound engineers, and Hollywood executives.

He has taught personal finance courses to Conejo Valley high school students through the Junior Achievement non-profit organization. Continuing with his passion for education, Scott is an adjunct professor for California Lutheran University’s School of Management. He teaches Financial Principles and Policies and Corporate Finance to graduate students in the MBA program.

Scott has been a resident of the Conejo Valley for over thirty years and currently resides in Thousand Oaks, CA, with his wife, Sofia, and son, Evan.

Kamie Abraham,

Financial Planner


Kamie L. Abraham, CFP(R), MBA is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER(R) practitioner in Westlake Village, California. She specializes in helping women in transition, families, and retirees develop and implement personalized strategies to help them reach their financial goals with confidence.

Kamie is the past-President of the Ventura County National Association of Women Business Owners and has been recognized with the 2018 Young Woman Entrepreneur of the Year award as well as the Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce inaugural 40 Under Forty Award*. She has earned her Master of Business Administration in Financial Planning degree from California Lutheran University so that she can better serve her clients to get on the right track toward a successful retirement.

Kamie lives in Thousand Oaks with her husband, Jeremy, and daughter, Emily. She has another daughter on the way due in 2023. She and her family are avid travelers and enjoy backpacking and spending time outdoors.

Kendyl Roundtree,

Financial Planner


Kendyl L. Roundtree is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner in Westlake Village, California.

She has spent her career helping entertainment clients, business owners, executives, divorcees, widows, retirees, and new parents, make the best decisions when it comes to their financial affairs. Her comprehensive, goal-based approach to financial planning helps to identify the unique concerns each client has, and to develop and implement personalized strategies toward reaching their short and long term financial goals.

Kendyl is a Chartered SRI Counselor™, specializing in sustainable, responsible, and impact Investing (SRI). She provides her clients the opportunity to invest in a way that reflects their values surrounding environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues.

Kendyl is very passionate about helping her community and is a member of The Divorce Transition Professionals, the Founder of The W Source’s Calabasas chapter, and a financial consultant for Women’s Economic Ventures, where she helps local business owners with their finances so their businesses can thrive.

Director of Operations


Before joining the team at Nexus Wealth Partners, Stephanie worked in the retail sector for 25 years and before that graduated from the University of San Francisco with a bachelor’s degree in business management.  She enjoys spending time with family, cooking, and binge-watching her favorite shows.

Emily Grabbe

Administrative Assistant


Before joining the team at Nexus Wealth Partners, Emily worked as a Director of Admin and Operations in the food service industry where she grew her interpersonal skills and gained valuable leadership experience. Emily obtained her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Financial Planning from California State University Northridge. She currently lives in Thousand Oaks with her fiancé, their two dogs, and their cat. She enjoys baking, cooking her favorite meals, and reading a good book in her free time.

Nikki Wilkins

Administrative Assistant


Nikki grew up in Missoula Montana, floating rivers, hiking, and playing sports. At age 14, she started a house painting business with her brother and hasn’t stopped working since! After ten years in the entertainment industry and finding so many people struggling to understand their finances and create the lives they wanted, she decided to change directions and learn how to help. Nikki is currently working toward her CFP® designation and is using her knowledge to help continue to build a thriving business that educates and supports people in reaching their financial goals.

In her free time, Nikki loves to write music and draw, be in nature with her two dogs, go on new food adventures, and read a good book. She is a creative, savvy and empathic person who cares deeply for people and wants to hear their story. She believes respect, compassion, and curiosity are key elements to meaningful relationships and looks forward to holding that space for the people she works with.

Shana Pugliese

Administrative Assistant


Before joining Nexus Wealth Partners, Shana worked as an Administrative Assistant at Sharma General Engineering Contractors. She currently lives in Moorpark with her husband and two daughters. She and her family enjoy camping, watersports and anything outdoors. When not doing those things you can find her at the softball fields cheering on her daughters.

Colleen Dominguez

Practice Manager

Before joining the team at Nexus Wealth Partners, Colleen worked as a Practice Manager in the medical field for 25 years. The medical industry and managing gave her the knowledge, strengths, and work ethics needed to come onboard. She had chosen Finance right out of High School.  She went to California Baptist College studying Accounting and Business. Although life moved her in many directions, she feels at home.  Colleen is a wife, mother, bonus mom, and grandmother which keeps her very busy. When she is not working and helping others, she loves her feet in the sand, the ocean breeze, and a country song playing in the background.
